Kula, Chris

My name is Chris Kula and I am the PE teacher for St. Cecilia.  I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was raised on the family dairy farm in Martelle, Iowa.  I have one younger brother, Kelly and two younger sisters Katie and Kacie.  Growing up we spent a lot of time outdoors, helping with the animals and crops, and hanging out with family and friends. I have 3 wonderful kids, Skylar, Ryker, and Teddy. I enjoy spending my time with them by helping coach their sports, and helping build their faith in AWANA’s. I also enjoy family time back on the family farm helping. 

I graduated from Anamosa High School in 2000. I graduated from Iowa State in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I was also on the Iowa State wrestling team. After Iowa State I went back to school and got my reading endorsement and Masters. In 2020, I decided I wanted to teach PE, so I went back to school to obtain that certification. My biggest love in life is Christ.
