Markley, Sara

Mrs. Sara Markley has worked at St. Cecilia since 2016. She previously taught middle school in Nevada and Des Moines for a combined 13 years.

Sara grew up in Ames, Iowa. She attended Gilbert Community School District, graduating in 1998. She then attended Iowa State University, graduating in 2003, with a degree in Elementary Education. Sara completed her Master’s Degree in Education from Viterbo University in 2013.

Sara and her husband, Carl, live in Ames. They have a daughter, Grace, and a son, Andrew, who both attended St. Cecilia School.
