I come to Ames after retiring in the summer of 2020 from St. Joseph School in Des Moines. This is my 47th year working in education which included 5 years here at St. Cecilia, 3 years at St. Mary's in Storm Lake, and a number of years at Ruthven-Ayrshire in Northwest Iowa. I am very excited to have this opportunity to return to St. Cecilia and work with the young people that make this school special. I have been married to Ann, my wife for 45 years and we have four adult children that live in the Polk County area. We both were born in Northwest Iowa and we have relocated to central Iowa to be closer to our children and seven grandchildren. I am truly looking forward to working with staff and parents as we make St. Cecilia School a place where your children can grow academically, but more important their spirituality and Christian habits that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
