My name is Morgan Amundson. I have been the school counselor at St. Cecilia School since 2015. I was born and raised in Story City, IA. I have one younger brother, Matt. Growing up we spent a lot of time outdoors, playing sports, and hanging out with family and friends. My husband Nick and I were married in 2014 and currently live in Ames with our two dogs, Indy and Ellie. I enjoy spending time with family, quilting, crocheting, grilling, reading, boating, and watching/playing sports.
I graduated from Roland-Story High School in 2008. I graduated from Morningside College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology. I was also a member of the softball team and worked as an aide in a kindergarten classroom. Later, I attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS and earned my master’s degree in school counseling while working as a graduate assistant in the Teacher’s Education department. I am also working as a therapist and counselor at Woodward Academy in Woodward, IA.
