St. Cecilia Elementary School, Ames, Iowa seeks a dynamic and student-centered professional to join our team as our Hot Lunch Director beginning January 6th, 2025 to finish out the 2024-2025 school year with the opportunity to continue into the following school year. St. Cecilia’s is a 145 student, preschool - 6th grade program. This requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in the food industry is preferable. The Food Service Director ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the school cafeteria and is responsible for the production of nutritious, appetizing meals for students and staff, while meeting all governmental and school regulations. The School Food Service Director must also ensure the school is maximizing its resources through ordering and minimizing production costs.
