Dear Parent,

We are delighted to provide you with information about St. Cecilia School. We are always eager to welcome newcomers to become part of the St. Cecilia family. Our staff and faculty are here to help you learn about our programs and we hope you find our online presence a helpful tool.

Since opening in 1925, St. Cecilia School has provided young people in central Iowa an excellent Catholic education tailored to the needs of each pupil. Our mission is to nurture the whole child with an exceptional academic experience, immersive faith formation, creative artistic expression, positive social development, and athletic instruction that strives for a healthy lifestyle.

Like all fine schools, Saint Cecilia strives to maintain high academic standards. But equally important to us is the development of a personal faith life for each student. We look to Christ as our example of the perfect educator. When challenges arise in our lives, we take comfort facing them with a strong intellect shaped by the gospel message.
